El Paso - Part 3

El Paso - Part 3

Trying to keep your kids out of harms way in a place like El Paso and all the gang-related killings, shootings, rapes or car-jacking will make your head spin and keep you extremely busy. On the good side, the police (military and civilian) are very quick to respond. Don't even think about going across the border without an interpreter that you can trust. Don't take cash! Don't take credit cards. Don't take anything you do not want to lose. Better yet, don't go, you might lose a life. I will say that the surrounding areas specifically Mesilla NM and Ruidoso NM have much to offer as an alternative get away especially on the weekends. You definitely have to take a drive on your way to Stahmann's Pecan Farms just to enjoy the pecan trees and the canopy of shade. Only two more years...Let the countdown begin. Who's counting! My entire family!
