NATTC PENSACOLA FL.

HI were got stationed in pensacola fl. for 3 years i hated that place the base houseing was small.NOT MADE FOR A FAMILY OF 4.It was hot hot and more hot the heat is very dry took a while to get use to it. The place is very old fashion everything is old there.The schools are very old my kids went to edgewater elem which im happy to know they closed that school down. Im from va and not to say its the best place but the education your kids recieve is much better.Pensacola is trulley made for older people to retire.The women on base housein g wasnot friendly at all but nosey as hell.I thought when we got there that becuse my husban would be on shore duty we would get to spend a lil more time together but ladies thatnot true my husband was an instructor which took up 95% of his time it was bad enough beei ng in a place trhat was not friendly but to have your only true friend gone alllll and i do mean allll day long was the worse.Pensacola can really tear your family apart u must have a stong marriage and focus on your next duty station becuz if not u will end up crazy, or divorced....God bless anyone who has to go there...NOT to mention the bugs there are every every where frogs and all yuck...The only positive side about pensacola was the beach its beautiful....NOT to mention the place seems raciest.. but thats just my personal opinion....
