We have been at Ft Campbell 4 years and would love to stay. I dont understand an earlier review stating there isnt any family support here. I think that person has never left her house. There is absolutely plenty support, you name it. The wives groups are wonderful and they go above and beyond to keep you informed and will be there if you need it. The key is to get yourself involved, call these support groups, get your name and number on the phone tree. You cant just sit there and expect people to come to you. I love Ft. Campbell. Everything about it, the health care facility, the commissary, it all gets an A plus in my book. We live off post, but Ive never heard one negative word about the schools and the housing is in the process of being updated. And the waiting list: you CAN get around that if you put your mind to it. There are jobs if you just look and plenty of educational opportunities if your interested in that. I could go on and on. I recommend Ft. Campbell to any family.
