Hubby and I love it here! So much we are buying a house and planning on staying in the area for a long time. Post is nice. Some people like to sa it is Fort Lost in the Woods, but, in fact, it is just the opposite. There is everything you need here. We have all the fast food places, Super Wal-Mart, nice resturants too. No mall but, who needs one? I'm sick of hearing that, lol. There is a mall 80 miles away, in Springfield and it is actually nice to take a little trip to go shopping all day long once in a while. There are also outlet malls (my favorite!) 3 in Branson and 1 in Osage Beach. There is also JcPenney, Maurices, Glicks, Fashion Bug and Goody's all close by in the area. Now for the men....great place for hunters! There is also golf courses for you golfers. Canoeing, fishing, hiking, caveing, trails for off-roading, and the list will go on and on....... There are also some wonderful churches, for those of you seeking a church home. There is also Branson, it is a great place to take a weekend away, hubby and I do it all the time, you have to go there at least once! What more can I say?
