But you can't combine a military/commissary coupon and a manufacturer's coupon.

I am an avid user of coupons and I have found that which checker you get determines the coupon policy of the day. Most of the time they allow me to combine military and manufactureres coupons as long as there are no more coupons than the number of items. (ie. $1 off on 2 Mfg w/ a $0.50 off on 1 military) However, this week I got the coupon Nazi as a checker and she wouldn't take hardly any of my coupons. I even went and found items in my already sacked bags and she'd say, sorry the pic on the coupon doesn't look like that so I'm not taking it. She even got so picky that the saralee coupon on bread said wheat bread and I got the whole grain white... Nope not taking it it didn't say whole grain it said wheat. Really!!! She was young and probably wasn't trying to raise 4 kids on E5 pay. My DH is Natl Guard and we took a $16K/yr pay cut for him to deploy to Afghanistan this year from GS12 to E5. She didn't care just kept piling them in the not letting you take these pile!!!

You need to check DeCA's coupon policy. It does not change with each cashier. The commissary has ONE policy for all bases. If your cashier doesn't know the coupon policy then he/she is letting you get away with coupon fraud if you are doubling coupons at your commissary! Just saying. Please be respectful and use the coupons as they were intended. Learn DeCA's coupon policy and coupon correctly and legally.

The commissary at Fort Knox takes both Commissary/Military only and coupons you get from the newspaper, any kind even ones you print, as long as these are not for too much off(I know 2.00 is ok but not sure what the limit is) or free items. They will not take expired. They will take as many as you have but one coupon per item. They have not doubled coupons in yrs and when they did it was 2 coupons per item they didn't double the amount on one coupon. They also have many coupons on hand at the store and on the shelves. Call you commissary and ask they will let you know.

After reading these post, I went and actually printed and hi-lited the coupon policy and it says one coupon per item. Then I looked at the FAQ area and it says one per item or item group. I know that that is the opinion of whomever wrote the FAQ section as it wasn\'t worded that way in the actual policy statement. So I wonder if I have a leg to stand on if I request to use one coupon per item based on the actual policy statement instead of the one per item group that some cashiers insist on??? Anyone appealed the checker\'s decision to management and if so what was the outcome?

I always thought it was one coupon per item. You could have 20 coupons and buy 20 items using one coupon per item (just an example with the amount). I have never heard that you could stack coupons, nor were there any restrictions for the amount of the coupon, as long as you use only one per item. I always thought everyone had the same policy. Now it seems it varies?

My commissary for example have the Friskies Cat treats for .99. I had 20 coupons for 1.00 off. My commissary will not give more than the item price so I got 20 packages of the Friskies cat treats at .99 cent off which made them all free except for the commissary surcharge so it cost me like 1.00 for 20 packages of the treats. I called ahead to ask them if I could use multiple coupons or was it limited to like only 5 and they said no, 1 coupon per item and it don't matter how many I got if I had 20 coupons and wanted to get 20 items thats what I got.
Call you local commissaries and ask they will tell you.

I\'ve shopped many times at my local commissary and used hundreds of coupons and I\'ve never had them decrease the amount of a coupon because the item I was purchasing cost less than the coupon value. That is not the policy either. They will not pay you an overage but you can use any overage on the remainder of your bill. You do have to make sure the cashier reads the coupons instead of just looking at the pictures also.

Please go to the DECA website and read their policies. We have a huge coupon program here in Vicenza, Italy and we use them all the time but for those who try and abuse the system and not follow the rules written we can all loose the \"PRIVILEGE\" of using them. Yes overseas is 6 months past the expire date and state side is the date on the coupon. You are only allowed to use one coupon per item for example you may not use a coupon on a product and then use a BOGO with it. I have asked this question and read the policies. Thank you to those who send coupons to Italy the program here saves our soldiers and families thousands a year.
