We are looking for new refrig. I love the stainless steel and have looked at all the new ones with the pull out drawers for freezers instead of being on the side. Anyone have one? Can you tell me pros/cons about it? Also need info on brands. What is the best/worst??

We bought the Samsung, with the freezer on the bottom and love it. Did not buy the stainless, did not match our kitchen. You have a lot more space in the freezer with it on the bottom. We also did not get the one with the ice/water dispenser on the door. In wastes a lot of space inside the fridge. Got our at Lowes they always have a 10 percent military discount and always have major sales around the holidays.

Can I ask how big is the one you got? You did not get an ice dispenser at all with it? That is one thing I could live without it. But DH cannot. I love older refrig's that you open and they have wide open space. The newer ones are samll. I have one in the garage that we have had for over 25 years and love it. I looked at Lowes this weekend but did not find anything.
I heard that Home Depot is having a Black Friday sale. Anyone know about Sears. I usually try to get appliances there when I can. My current refrig is from there. Keep info coming!! I have to make a decision in a couple of weeks!!

My friend bought a Sears refrigator side by side door with water & ice on the door, she loves it. But, a big BUT - It has a built in water filter also that has a light that comes on when it needs to be changed, COST of new one $50.00. You might want to ask if it has a water filter and how much they run to replace it before you buy.

Your right Ron about those filters costing. We have one in our current refrig. and they cost! Thanks for the info Patti. Heading over to look at that. I just got the flyer for the Exchange Black Friday. I did not see anything in that. I had hoped I would.
