has anyone ever send expired coupons to our overseas service families. I understand that the policy is not outside of 6 months expiration (DECA policy). If you have did you send it to someone you knew or to a MWR type program. Thanks for your help...

Often the commissaries themselves will accept the coupons that you mail directly to them. They then sort through and put them out for everyone to use. You can find the addresses through the commissary website

The commissaries overseas and also the Family Readiness Centers both will take the coupons and have them available for the families to use :) You are right that they only can be used for 6 months past the expiration date.

If you go to overseas coupon program they will give you a list of addresses and bases that are accepting coupons. I live here in Vicenza Italy and we get them through our Army Communty Services.
