1/2 cup shortening or margarine, 1 1/2 cup sugar, 2 1/2 cups flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1 cup milk, 1 tbs. baking powder, 3 eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla.
Cream shortening, eggs & sugar. Add milk. mix dry ingredients in seperate bowl. Add dry mixture to wet mixture a little at a time. Mix well. Bake at 350 degrees until tooth pick comes out clean. |
