1 pkg. (8.5) corn muffin mix
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 bottle (3/4 cup) Taco Bell Home Originals Pour 'N Simmer Seasoning mix or 1 pkg. (1-1/4oz) Taco Bell Home Originals Taco Seasoning Mix
1 pkg (8ox) shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1. Prepare corn muffin mix as directed on package. Spread batter into a greased 12-inch pizza pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
2. Brown meat; drain. Add seasoning; prepare as directed on package. Sprinkle 1 cup of cheese over baked crust. Top with meat mixture and remaining cheese.
3. Bake 4 to 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Serve with your favorite taco topings such as lettuce, salsa, sour cream, tomatoes.
Tip! BBQ Cornbread Pizza: Substitute 3/4 cup bbq sauce for taco seasoning. |
