Shephard's Pie

Recipe: Shephard's Pie - 1 lb. ground beef 1 can sliced carrots 1 can sliced potatoes 2 cups (packed) bisquick 1 cup milk Brown the ground beef in a skillet. While it is cooking, mix the milk and packed bisquick in a mixing bowl. When ground beef is done, add carrots and potatoes to it and simmer for 5 minutes. At this time, preheat oven to 450*. Strain all water from the beef and vegetable mixture. Use a casserole dish and coat with Pam cooking spray. Put 3/4 of the bisquick mix into the casserole dish, then add the beef and vegetable mixture and mix it all up. Then put the remaining bisquick mix on top. Cook in oven for 35 minutes. Very cheap meal that's healthy and delicious! - Thanks for the recipe Mom. As an option... Add seasonings to the beef while it is cooking. My favorite is to add garlic powder and onion salt.
