Want something that looks and tastes fancy and took nothing to make??
Angel Food Cake with Almond Cream:
angel food cake or the little shortcake cups
2 tbls. of slivered almonds (optional)
1 (4oz.) container of vanilla pudding
3/4 c. frozen whipped topping, thawed
1/2 tsp. almond extract
Any or all of the following fruits:
blueberries, peaches, raspberries
(use frozen or fresh)
Combine in a bowl the whipped topping, vanilla pudding and the almond extract, mix well, spoon on top of angel food cake or shortcake and top with fruit of your choice.
This tastes and looks fabulous and the majority of the ingredients most of us have in our cupboard or fridge already!
