Recipe: CHEAP EASY MEAT MEAL SERVES 8 1 head cabbage, torn or shredded 1 onion, diced 1 large apple, diced (not peeled) 1 pound any cooked pork product ( bacon, ham, or vegetarian sausage) 1 pound cooked any noodles (spaghetti, or even ramen) Place cabbage in microwave safe bowl with 1/2 cup water and cook on high 5 minutes. (If you do not have a microwave, use stove) Drain any water off cabbage and place in skillet with chopped onion, apple, and your pork Sprinkle with black pepper and optional caraway seed. Cook on mediuym heat about 6-8 minutes until onion is transparent. Add noodles to cabbage mixture and heat through. Serves 8 or 2 meals for a family of four. The calories depend on what meat you put in but it costs less than $5 to make this.
