Recipe: This recipe is made just like the original Haystacks but with a twist...here goes....2 6 oz. packages of Butterscotch chips or 1 12 oz. package....1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips.... 1 cup spanish peanuts or any peanut will do.... 1 to 2 cups chow mein noodles. Directions: In top of double boiler over hot water, melt Butterscotch chips. Remove from heat. Stir in nuts and noodles until well coated. Now add the chocolate chips, stir carefully but not thoroughly if you like. Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper over a cookie sheet. Put cookie sheet of Dirty Haystacks in refrigerator to chill for several minutes till shine is gone. Remove and eat. So yummy, you can't eat just one. Be careful, they are adictive. Enjoy!
