Recipe: Simple Meat and Potatoe Pie Oven:350 Degrees Materials Deep Dish Pie Pan(9"-13") Rolling Pin Ingredients 1 egg 1/2c milk 1/2t pepper 1/2t garlic 1/2t salt 1/4t nutmeg(ground) 1/4t clove(ground) 1# Lean Ground Beef 1# Red Potatoes 3 Med Onions 8oz Sliced,Fresh Mushrooms 2 9"-13" Pie Crusts(Thawed or Homeade) 1Pt Thick Brown Gravy Method Cube the potatoes into 1/2" cubes, place on buttered roasting pan, and roast for 20 minutes, remove from oven and reserve. Dice the onions into 1/2" dice, add to mushrooms, ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic, nutmeg, and clove. Saute over medium-high heat until done. Adjust seasonings to taste, using all of the seasonings in a balanced manner. Add potatoes and gravy to mixture, only using enough gravy to coat evenly. Place bottom crust into pie pan. Add meat and potatoe mixture to pan, add gravy if needed. Cover with top pie crust. Pinch sides of dough to form crust. At this time scramble the egg into the milk, then brush mixture onto pie crust. Bake 1 hour, enjoy!
