Zippy Spanish Rice

Recipe: 1 pound ground beef 1 medium onion, chopped 2-14 ounce cans tomatoes, crush them as you add them in 1 can tomato paste 1 packet of chili seasoning 1 clove garlic, crushed 1 cup uncooked rice, do not use minute rice 2 cups water grated cheddar cheese Brown the ground beef with the onion and garlic. Drain fat. Add your tomatoes,tomato paste,and chili seasoning, blending thoroughly. Let this simmer 10 minutes before adding rice. Mix in your uncooked rice and the water. Stir and cover, turning the heat to medium-low. Let simmer for 20-25 minutes. Top with grated cheddar cheese before serving, if desired. This is a great "one dish meal" and is very filling, enjoy!
