Recipe: 3 TBSP vegetable oil 1 pkg French Onion Soup Mix 1 can mushroom soup 1 cup water 4-5 lb beef pot roast Brown pot roast with 3 tablespoon's vegetable oil in dutch oven on medium heat. Add mushroom soup, dissolve soup mix in cup of water and add to soup mixture. Cook on low heat for 3-4 hours. Beef will be tender, and you can use the sauce for gravy over rice or mashed potato's. Wonderful!
