Mom's Meatloaf

Name: Angela Mitchell
Base: Mac Dill AFB
Recipe: 2 eggs 3/4 cup milk 2/3 cup finely crushed saltines 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp rubbed sage dash of pepper to taste 1 1/2 lbs ground beef Topping: 1 cup ketchup 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1 tsp worcestershire sauce In large bowl, beat eggs. Add milk saltines, onion, salt, sage and pepper. Add beef and mix well. Shape into an 8 1/2 inch x 4 1/2 inch loaf in an ungreased shallow baking pan. Combine remaining ingredients; spread over meat loaf. Bake at 350* for 60-70 minutes or until no pink remians. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with remaining sauce. Serves 6-8 This is great with mashed potatoes and green beans. I have a recipe for those two also. I'll post them next week!! :)
