Recipe: 3-4 lbs. meat (cut into squares) 1 cup soy sauce (Kikomans works best) 1 cup white vinegar 1/2 cup sugar 4 bay leaves 1 tbsp garlic (easier to use the bottle minced garlic) 1) Pour the vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, bay leaves and garlic into a medium-sized pot. If you used a garlic clove, make sure it is crushed up. 2) Stir the mixture over low heat until the sugar dissolves. 3) Add the cut meat squares to the sauce and cook over low heat until the meat is cooked thoroughly. Tip#1: Adobo tastes great on top of white calrose rice. Tip#2: The more meat you use, the more vinegar and soy sauce.
