Recipe: Cheesy Beefy Crescent Pie Serves: 4 1 9" pie plate (deep kind) 1 Can crescent rolls 1 8oz. shredded cheddar cheese: 1/4 cup seperated from the rest 1 8 oz can tomato sauce 1 4 oz can sliced mushrooms drained 1 141/2 oz can cut green beans drained 1 egg beaten 1 lb. ground beef 1/4 cup chopped onion 1/4 cup chopped green pepper 1/4 tsp. salt (or garlic salt) 1/4 tsp. garlic powder (if not using garlic salt) 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning In a large skillet brown beef with onions and green peppers. Add seasonings while browning. While beef is browning seperate crescent rolls and press into the bottom of a deep nine inch pie plate pressing the seams together to make a crust. Pour beaten egg into the crust. Add 1/4 cup cheese sprinkling over the beaten egg. Drain beef when brown and return to skillet and add mushrooms, tomato sauce and green beans. Mix well and pour into pie plate on top of cheese and egg mixture. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and bake in 350 degree oven about 25 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is melted and brown.
