I am always asked to bring this to party's
Everyone loves these at picnics, You will need 1-2 half gal size (or 1 gal.) cans of pork & beans, 1 large onion, finely chopped, 1/2 to 1 cup firnly packed dark brown sugar,1/2 cup catsup,2-3 tablespoons mustard, 1/2 cup or more worcestershire sauce, 1 to 3 pieces of bacon, 1 1/2 lbs.hambuger meat, half bottle BBQ sauce. fry hamburger meat, bacon, and onions put in oven bakeware or crockpot, add the rest of ingredient to bakeware or crockpot. If using oven cook in preheat oven to 350. cook for 1 hour or until bubbly. If cooking in crockpot cook for 2 to 3 hours or until bubbly. Use you judgement with the ingredients some people like to taste as you go to make sure the flavor isn't to spicey. |
