Recipe: |
1 refrigerated pie crust (I use frozen Pet-Ritz deep dish)
2 c sliced berries
2 1/2 T cornstarch
1 1/4 c sugar
1 1/2 c water
1 box strawberry jello (small box)
Layer prepared crust with sliced berries, set aside.
Stir water, sugar & cornstarch; bring to boil. Simmer, stir constantly, until thick. Remove from heat, add jello and stir until dissolved.
Pour over strawberries and refrigerate for about 4 about hours or longer. Whip cream or cool whip if desired for topping. |
