This is too easy........ its almost pecan season.
Fresh Pecans makes the world of difference !!!
2 cups of fresh pecans preferable the big ones .
1 cup of karo syrup. the light cornsyrup
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 stick of butter
two eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
one deep dish pie shell.
preheat oven at 350
shell1 1/2 to 2 cups of pecans make sure you clean out I the grooves set aside
melt butter then.....
in a bowl . start by mixing eggs, sugars, butter, vanilla extract. mix in pecans. put in a thawed pie shell. place in oven and bake for 55 to 60 mins. let cool at least two hours . and enjoy. |
