Cup of Hot Cocoa-Nut

Name: Bruce Jensky
Base: Langley Air Force Base, Hampton, VA
Recipe: This is a delicious hot cocoa, made with powered coconut milk (lactose-intolerant friendly...) and it's made by just swapping powered coconut milk for powered milk. Even if you only fill your mug a quarter of the way with the mix and just add water instead of hot milk, this cocoa is creamy, rich, and irresistible. This recipe makes 5 1/2 cups of dry mix. INGREDIENTS: 2 cups powered sugar; 1 cup cocoa (Dutch-process preferred); 2 1/2 cups powered coconut milk; 1 teaspoon salt; and 2 teaspoons cornstarch... DIRECTIONS: Step 1: Combine all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix evenly. Step 2: In a small pot, heat 4 to 6 cups of water (or you can use warm milk...). Fill your mug half full with he mixture and pour in the hot water (or warm milk...). Step 3: Enjoy! The kids especially love this after a day of playing out in the snow... (SPECIAL NOTE: Seal the rest in an airtight container, keeps indefinitely in the pantry...)
