Lemonade Popsicle Recipe

Name: Bruce Jensky
Base: Langley Air Force Base, Hampton, VA
Recipe: This Lemonade Popsicle Recipe makes for a fun dessert recipe for kids and parents. You do not want to use just traditional lemonade since that is too watery and you do not want to use any heavy cream or condensed milk because that is just too heavy... (Ahh, a Goldilocks' conundrum.). So Goldilocks tried whole milk yogurt instead and it gave it a little bit of sweetness. If you want your Lemonade Popsicle recipe to be on the sweeter side you could add some simple syrup instead of just plain water such as, honey, maple syrup, stevia, and such...). Prep Time is just 10-minutes, Freezer Time is 4-hours, and this recipe makes 8-servings. INGREDIENTS: 1/2 cup lemon juice, Pinch of Tumeric (for color), 1/2 cup milk, 2 cups milk. DIRECTIONS: Step 1: In a large bowl with a spout, mix together the lemon juice and turmeric. Once combined, add in the remaining ingredients and stir until completely mixed. Step 2: Pour mixture into the Popsicle mold and then place the Popsicle sticks in (Note: depending on your freezer, you might have to wait 30-minutes for so before placing the Popsicle sticks so they stand up). Step 3: Freeze the Popsicle for 4+ hours or until frozen solid. Step 4: Enjoy!!!
