Smoky Grilled BLTs

Recipe: 8 Thick-cut Hickory-Smoked bacon slices 8 5-Grain Bread Slices 3 Small Tomatoes, 5-6oz cut into 1/2 inch slices 5 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. mayonnaise 8 Butter Lettuce Leaves 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2/ tsp pepper 1. Preheat grill to medium-high 400-450 degrees. 2. Place a cast iron skillet on the grill grates. Add bacon to skillet. Cook. Break bacon in half. 3. Brush bacon drippings evenly onto 1 side of bread. Place bread on greased sides down on grates. Grill until lightly toasted. 4. Place tomato slices on oiled grates. Grill until warmed and faint grill marks appear. Remove. 5. Spread mayonnaise evenly onto the uncooked sides of bread slices. Add bread slices with bacon pieces, tomato slices, and lettuce. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Top with bread slice.
