Ft. Lee, Va & Ft. Sam Houston, Tx

I've been around Ft. Lee my entire life.....and one word comes to mind....joke! The base and housing has gotten much better over the past 5 years or so....really building the base up and taking on more troops, but the people are ok as long as you don't act like you're owed something. People suck, but you have to be polite. Plus I love Va drivers. Ft. Sam Houston...parts of post are just beautiful, but being from the east coast I'd have to say I'm not a fan of the San Antonio attitude....people here are just rude....not all, but most. The drivers suck.....cause a two mile back up b/c they wanna see an accident that happened on the other side of the highway......but people on post are great. Off-post you have to drive a little bit to hit the good shopping.
