Ft. Irwin

We rented a house and agreed to pay fifty extra dollars a month so we could have a six month lease instead of a one year lease. Last week when my husband put us on the housing list we were number 5 now we are 1. There is going to be major hell to pay if our name comes up before our lease has expired. The dumb asses at housing told us the wait was three to seven months. My kids are going to school in Barstow, they have to leave 30 minutes earlier in the morning just for the long ass walk to the bus stop. The schools they are enrolled in suck, they are run by facists. I have to keep telling myself it's just two years. I really wish a natural disaster would take Barstow and Ft. Irwin off the map. It is shocking to me that someone would willingly live in this shit hole. Maybe I just hate it because I have loved everywhere else we have lived and this place is just so desolate. It is like being on another planet!
