Ft Campbell was our first duty station and we absolutly loved it. That part of the country is so beautiful. It's not a big town and there's not an insane amount of activity so if you are coming from a big city then it will take some adjusting but they just built a theme park in Hop-town which is a 15 minute drive. There are a lot of great parks around the area(land between the lakes)
The Post itself we really took for granted when we were there but after going to Ft knox (worst experience ever) and now on the Schofield (absolutly beautiful) I now know how great that post was run and how great it really is. Ft Campbell is hopefully our next duty station.
Right now, at Schofield, we are having a great time. Even with the deployment looming over our heads we are able to go out and make great memories doing things we would never be able to do anywhere else. I love Hawaii and I love the people here. There are a lot of opportunities for spouses here as far as education is concerned.
The only complaints I have are,of course, housing and also the terrible experiences I've had in just about every doctor's office, CYS and ACS. The people in customer service positions really need some more training in what that means.
