Ft. Lewis MCcHORD X2

LEWIS/MCCHORD

CONT...this is the same for Lakewood. However if you like the nightlife I recommend Station 56, The Swiss or McCabes (which is a country bar) theres also a chopsticks and other bars on 6th Ave in Tacoma. Also I must suggest Wayne's Inn in Downtown Puyallup, a lot of locals but always fun and cheap drinks! Spanaway is also nice in some parts, like closer to Fredrickson or Summit Valley. Sumner and Orting are also beautiful but you are very close to the mountain, which some of the residents fear will eventually erupt one day. I went to Firgrove Elementary school, Ballou Jr. High, Emerald Ridge High School as well as Roger's High school. They are all very good schools. Downtown Puyallup is very quaint. They have the daffodil parade and they do farmers markets occasionally. They have lots of antique stores and specialty shops and the Puyallup Fair happens in Septerber as well as they have a Spring Fair, it's a great family treat. Ther are alSO a variety of Support groups, YMCA's, Parks and Rec ceneters. Spanaway has a ice skating rink, there are community swim times at the school pools and lots of events to get involved in. If your from a small town and really like the community feel, Eatonville is another great place to live. It's further away from the action of Tacoma and Puyallup, however it has a very small amount of residence, one local grocery store and a very hometown feel to it. It's safe and you can practically walk around the town to everything. I hope you enjoy your stay in Washington, I can't wait to go back.
