I am absolutely in love with Great Falls, Montana. There are four, distinct seasons and not too much snow. The shopping is more than adequate. Many complain about the lack of restaurants but the town is covered with many "mom and pop"-type places. My dinosaur-loving boys have enjoyed two dinosaur digs in nearby Choteau. By far, Great Falls is home to the very nicest community I've ever experienced. The town even has a "Military Affairs Committee" which worries itself with military matters. The community takes a very proactive approach to the base and its populace. All in all, Great Falls has the amenities of a bigger city but the charm and "real folk" of a small town.
