This recipe is great because its very versital. Just about anything you can put on a pizza you can put in this. Put two packages scalloped potatoes in a casserole dish. Empty seasoning packet over the top. To make the sauce, I use a large can of stewed tomatos and add browned ground beef, onions, green peppers, mushrooms. You can add one, all, or whatever you choose according to what your family likes. Season with garlic, salt, italian spices,ets; simmer the sauce untill vegatables are done and pour over top of potatos, If sauce is really thick add a little water so the potatos can cook. Line pepperoni over the top and cover with mozzarella cheese. Cover with foil and bake according to the temp and time on the scalloped potato package. This is a favorite in my family. Kids love it too. |
