Hamburger Sausage Cassarole

Recipe: 1 pkg. each hamburger and link sausage 1 can each Cream of mushroom and Cheddar cheese soup 1 1/2 soup cans of milk 5-6 potatoes, peeled and cubed cooking spray (optional) Slice sausage crosswise (into rings) and brown with hamburger; drain and set aside. Mix soups and milk. Spray baking pan with cooking spray to help with cleanup if desired. Mix all ingredients and pour into baking dish. Bake at 375 till potatoes are soft (about 45 min depending on size of cubes). Variations are almost limitless!! Use Turkey for 1 or both meats or use veggie meats; substitute nacho cheese soup for cheddar; golden mushroom, celery, or French onion for cream of mushroom; a root vegetable (such as rutabaga) for potatoes. In a time crunch or lack of oven this can also be made in an electric skillet, crock pot, or on the stovetop (although it's better slow baked).
