Recipe: Roasted broccoli is the best way to eat broccoli! Once you learn hot to roast broccoli, you will never go back to your old way of steaming it... It's easy to make, and the kids will think it's the best broccoli they ever tasted and possibly the only way they will eat broccoli. Prep Time is 5-minutes, the Cook Time is 20-minutes, and this recipe makes 3 to 4 servings... INGREDIENTS: 1 large bunch of broccoli (about 1/2 pound); 2 to 3 tablespoons olive oil; Salt and pepper to taste; that's all, simple huh... DIRECTIONS: Step 1: Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Wash broccoli and dry very thoroughly. Step 2: Really, Do not skip the drying -- It's important; otherwise, the broccoli is only steamed... Step 4: Bake for 10-minutes, flip each piece over and bake for 10 more minutes. Step 5: Serve immediately and enjoy! Other possibilities after roasting are: add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice after roasting or Parmesan sprinkled on after roasting, or maybe a sprinkle of chili powder...
