Hey to all! I am just a southern girl married to the Air Force, come hell or high water. My family came from Shaw AFB, SC. I love it there. Beach, Sun, and Fun everywhere to be had. The base is located in a town called Sumter. There is lots to do. The base has all kinds of intermural sports, lots of activities for kids, parks everywhere, and they are building a new gym with an indoor pool. The Beach is only an hour and a half away. Charleston is not far either. Columbia has plenty of malls for shoppers like me. Well, last April we pcs'd to Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona. Lord, I went from hot to HOTTER!!! So far everyone has been really nice here. The base has lots for kids and the cdc is nice. Off base there is a small zoo and lots of libraries. And if you love old westerns " Old Tucson" is the place. Also we have the airplane museum,and Vegas is only 6 hours or so away. My kids love it here. So any moms that want to chat e-mail me. I have 3 kids,( 3months, 2 years, and 6 years).
