When I was in the servce kadena/ misawa/ yokota air bases were nice, the people were awesome, especially the Okinawans, very polite and shy. Alot of things to do just do not be afraid to go out and meet people of course use your own judgement,i love tomeet a lot of people, i am so friendly so i tell you i made alot over there. tokyo cool but expensive. nice places to go, misawa was small but a lot of scenic places, i miss the all you can eat restaurants over there. malls were ok, went to a lot of bazaars bought a lot of stuff. Bahrain was fine to me when i was there, not a whole lot to do on base but off base was ok. i usually went out at night w/ some friends, we went to clubs, hard rock cafe was ok, chilis was fine, the only things i did not like were not wearing short dresses and shorts because it wa really really really hot. I will love to go back there if permitted.
