The base is in Ewa Beach the housing area overthere is already privetized, well well hawaii? awesome. alot of things to do. lots of jobs if you are not picky although most of them are minimum wage. All the nex, bx, px, commissaries are awesome, warning try not to buy off bas it is expensive milk expensive, so do your shopping @ the commissaries, but if you love to go to the swap meet at the stadium cheap but commercial cheap though, they have a lot of good stuff as souveniers.Vegetables if you know where to go and I am a pro already since it will be my 4th year here,a lot of ethnic food, people are nice, most of the time they will mistakenly thought i am local until i start talking,,upps pure Philipina. plate lunches alot and cheap. Hawaiians love to eat. alot of places to go watch showsn those hawaiian dancers shaking their waists and hips awesome. The best luau for me and my family? The Polynesian Cultural Center, then Ko a lina . The houses here are very very very expensive. But the views are breathtaking, hiking trails a lot, North Shore are where the surfurs are frequently seen. ESPN is always here for the International surfing compitions. Awesome waves. Waikiki is cool but a lot of tourists, well everywhere you go there are tourists. One thing Iwill tell you BE CAREFUL IN DRIVING IN HAWAII. Overall it is great.you gotta go out and meet the people.
