Nellis AFB

I have lived in Vegas for many years before I got married and started living on base. I believe that actually living on base gave me hope that there are some nice people in Vegas. My community is awesome, there is always a neighbor nearby to talk to while my husband is deployed. It makes it easier because most of my family lives out here in Vegas as well so I know that I always have someone out there. This is my first base and it is definately a great place to be. Not so much fun for people under 21. But there are lots of things for kids to do out here. Also there is a wonderful public transportation out here in Vegas, It's called a CAT bus. More people should consider using it unless you want Vegas's traffic to be like LA. LOL. Also there are some great schools out here. With many different programs that could appeal to your children, if not yourself. Vegas Is Great. It will be sad to move from here.
